Continental Steel & Tube Company can provide a broad range of alloy materials to suit your industrial needs. Known as your “Hard-To-Find Metals Specialist,” we proudly run several distribution centers at locations around the country to ensure unsurpassed speed, quality, and reliability with our material deliveries for applications across a range of industries.

We offer a variety of standard and specialty materials, as well as forging services, at cost-effective prices. To properly reflect our broad material offerings, we’ve updated our catalog and added new nickel and high temperature alloys:

  • Nickel AlloyAlloy 825 — Alloy 825 is a material that is ductile and easily fabricated. Primarily consisting of nickel and chromium, as well as a combination of iron, copper and molybdenum, this alloy has excellent resistance to stress corrosion. Because of these corrosion resistance characteristics, it is often used in chemical processing, marine exhaust systems and radioactive waste handling.
  • Alloy 925 — A nickel-based alloy containing chromium and iron, as well as smaller increments of molybdenum, aluminum, copper, and titanium, this material is strong and corrosion resistant. It is suitable for valves, packers, tubulars, pumps shafts, and more applications in sour gas and marine environments.
  • Monel 400 — Composed of nickel and copper, as well as carbon, iron, silicon, and manganese, this material is similar to Alloy 925 in its strength and corrosion resistance. Monel 400 is suitable for use in acidic and alkaline environments such as heat exchangers, valves, pumps, chemical processing, and marine engineering.
  • Alloy 800 — Comprised of chromium, iron, and nickel, alloy 800 is part of the “INCOLOY®” alloy series, created by the Special Metals Corporation. This material provides strength, stability, and resistance to both corrosion and heat, making it suitable for heat exchangers, heat-treating equipment, piping systems, and domestic appliances.

To suit a wide variety of applications, Continental Steel can provide nickel grade alloys in many different shapes. We offer pipe, tube, strip, sheet, wire, rounds, and more, depending on industry, application, and your specific project needs. From process piping and heat exchangers to cooking appliances, furnace parts, and gas-turbine components, we offer a broad range of shapes and sizes for optimal functionality.

For over two decades, Continental Steel & Tube Company has been a worldwide leading metals supplier and distributor. We are able to provide our customers with materials in a variety of shapes, in addition to forging, metal processing, procurement, and exporting services. We are also ISO 9001:2008 Certified and Compliant with all metals we supply.
